Scotland’s national parks are different from national parks in other countries because they aim to conserve both our natural and cultural heritage: the boundaries include about 18,000 people and the aims include ‘the sustainable development of the area’s communities’. Many people are asking ‘Why build in a National Park ?’- here we explain why.
